Yuzvendra Chahal reveals whether he prefers bowling with R Ashwin or Kuldeep Yadav.
Yuzvendra Chahal of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be hoping to make Team India’s squad for the T20 World Cup, which begins in October this year. The spinner currently leads the Purple Cap race in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season with 24 wickets in 13 games, and RR is also closing in on playoff qualification. On ESPNcricinfo, the 31-year-old was asked which of Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin he preferred to bowl with. Chahal chose Kuldeep after some thought and explain his decision.
“Kuldeep because we’ve played so many matches together, and we have the kind of bond where we can communicate without even speaking,” Yuzvendra Chahal reveals.
“That’s the kind of connection I have with him,” he went on to say.

Kuldeep has also been in good form this season, taking 18 wickets in 12 games for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2022.
Both Chahal and Kuldeep were left out of India’s T20 World Cup squad last year, with Ashwin taking their place.
India had a disastrous campaign, finishing in the Super 12 stage after losing to Pakistan in their first match.
The T20 World Cup was Kohli’s final tournament as India’s white-ball captain.
In the meantime, Kohli stepped down as Test captain this year, with Rohit Sharma taking over as all-format captain.
