Wasim Jaffer’s Hilarious Meme On PBKS’ Selection

Wasim Jaffer’s Hilarious Meme On PBKS’ Selection. Former cricketer Wasim Jaffer shared a hilarious meme highlighting Punjab Kings’ selection issues with overseas players in the IPL 2022.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) appear to have a plethora of issues with their selection in this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL). The abundance of in-form overseas players is a good problem to have for skipper Mayank Agarwal. Who has led his team with confidence thus far. The results are there to see, with two wins out of three matches played, which bodes well for PBKS, but the selection headache of selecting four overseas players appears to be a bit difficult with the options available.

Kagiso Rabada is a world-class pacer who makes a strong case for selection, while Bhanuka Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka has been in excellent form with the bat and provides much-needed impetus at the top of the order. Liam Livingstone and Odean Smith, both from England, have already proven their worth and will be difficult to overlook. And, with Jonny Bairstow available for selection, Mayank could be in for a long day at work while deciding on a team.

Former cricketer Wasim Jaffer brilliantly conveyed this headache by sharing a hilarious meme about it.

The PBKS’ Selection caption of the video said:

“PBKS trying to fit Bairstow, Rabada, Livingstone, Rajapaksa and Odean Smith into the XI #PBKSvGT #IPL2022.”

PBKS have been in good form, winning their first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by five wickets. However, they veered off course and were defeated by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by six wickets in their next game.

PBKS then returned to winning ways with a stunning 54-run victory over defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Mayank has been an excellent captain, but his batting form has been disappointing. He has struggled to make an impact as an opening batter in IPL 2022 and will look to change that in Friday’s match against Gujarat Titans at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
