The RCB has shared a photo of Virat Kohli with a new star ahead of the IPL 2022. This season’s RCB team will feature a number of new faces, including South African legend Faf du Plessis. Last month, RCB paid Rs 7 crore for the former Chennai Super Kings player in the IPL mega auction.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore will make a new start in the IPL with the upcoming 2022 season, as a new captain will take over for Virat Kohli, who decided to step down from the position at the end of last year’s campaign. RCB have three finals but have never won the IPL trophy, and the new captain will have his work cut out for him right away.

CSK had made numerous attempts to bring Faf back into the fold, but RCB were adamant about going big for du Plessis. Given his experience leading South Africa in international cricket, many believe du Plessis should be considered for the captaincy.
Glenn Maxwell is also a contender, and it will be interesting to see who Director of Cricket Operations Mike Hesson ultimately chooses.
On Wednesday, RCB took to Twitter and posted a photo with the caption, “Just a vision from the future. 12th Man Army, I’m excited to see these????stars working together.”
Virat Kohli is fist bumping with Faf du Plessis in the photo, and both batters are wearing RCB jerseys.
The image is clearly a morphed one, as Faf has yet to play for RCB in the IPL.
The franchises are working hard to gain traction among fans on social media for the upcoming season, and this is certainly an innovative way of providing fans with a taste of what to expect in IPL 2022.
