The post-IPL phase would last from May 30 to June 26. Moreover, The Ranji Trophy will feature 64 matches spread over 62 days this season.

In addition, There are eight Elite Groups and one Plate Group to choose from. The Elite Groups would consist of four teams, while the Plate Group would consist of six teams. One team from each Elite Group will advance to the quarterfinals. Also, The lowest-ranked of the eight qualified teams will face the top team from the Plate Group in a pre-quarterfinal match.
