Ex-Pakistani star star Mohammad Rizwan is “better” than Rishabh Pant. Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Rizwan believes that Mohammad Rizwan is superior to Rishabh Pant because he takes more responsibility.
Mohammad Rizwan has emerged as a rising star for Pakistan’s cricket team in recent years. The wicket-keeper batter a standout performer as Pakistan advanced to the 2021 T20 World Cup semi-finals. His rise comes at a time when the Indian cricket team has an exciting performer in wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant. The Indian is now an all-format player and captain of the Delhi Capitals of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Former Pakistan player Aaqib Javed, on the other hand, believes Rizwan is better than Pant in his current form, and he has provided one important reason for his reasoning.

Javed: Mohammad Rizwan is “better” than Rishabh Pant.
“Rizwan is getting better these days, “When asked who is more impressive, Pant or the Pakistani star, Javed said on ARY News’ Sports Room. “Pant is a skilled player, but because of the way Rizwan handles responsibility, Pant is still…. Being aggressive does not imply hitting a couple of big, powerful shots and then walking away. Aggressiveness and mental toughness require you to stay at the crease until the game is over.”
Rizwan, 29, has played 22 Tests, 44 ODIs, and 56 T20Is for Pakistan, scoring 1112, 897, and 1662 runs, respectively. In T20Is, he averages an impressive 50.36. Pant, 24, has played 30 Tests, 24 ODIs, and 43 T20Is for India, scoring 1920, 715, and 683 points in those three formats, respectively. He was also India’s hero during the team’s 2020-21 tour of Australia.
When asked to choose between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, Javed said, “Virat Kohli was at his peak some time ago, now he’s down, while Babar is on the rise.”
