During the LSG vs GT match, Hardik Pandya plays mind games with his brother Krunal Pandya. In a nail-biter, Gujarat Titans upset Lucknow Super Giants by seven runs.

In the ongoing IPL 2023 encounter between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandya welcomed his brother Krunal Pandya to the crease with some banter and mind games. Notably, after Shubman Gill was out in the second over of the game, Krunal Pandya was pushed up the order and batted at number three. Seeing this, Hardik was eager to greet him with sledging and a cheeky smile.

However, the senior Pandya remained silent as he adjusted his helmet and gloves before proceeding to the crease. Krunal appeared to be lost in his own world. Meanwhile, because the Pandya brothers are rarely seen playing mind games, this video has gone viral on social media.

GT defeated LSG by seven runs in a thrilling encounter

Meanwhile, Hardik’s mind tactics were ineffective, and Krunal went on to add 23 runs to LSG’s innings. The home team was on its way to yet another victory when everything changed. Hardik was spot right with his bowling changes towards the tail end of the match, and as a result, GT won by seven runs.

Noor Ahmed deserves a lot of credit for setting up the match with his outstanding spell in the middle overs. The young Afghan spinner surrendered only 18 runs in four overs while picking up two wickets. Veteran pacers Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma, on the other hand, were at their best in the final overs, sealing GT’s fate in the encounter.

Notably, Lucknow was in complete command of the game until the 15th over. Victory was a matter of when, not if, with KL Rahul still on the crease. Gujarat, on the other hand, kept the home team under immense pressure by bowling economical overs, and they were soon able to seize control of the match. Furthermore, with Rahul’s dismissal in the final over, Lucknow was entirely out of the game. Gujarat won their fourth match of the season, and are now fourth on the IPL Points Table, thanks to ace bowler Mohit Sharma’s variations in the final over.
