Deep Dasgupta says “It is very difficult to figure out why KKR won just two games” in the Indian Premier League. Dasgupta has been confused by the Kolkata Knight Riders’ performances within the first phase of IPL 2021. Knight Riders oversaw to win just two games. They were feeble to urge any kind of momentum. Deep feels that despite having a number of match-winners. Moreover, KKR fizzled to post huge totals consistently. He focused how Nitish Rana’s unassuming 201 runs. They were the highest from the KKR in the points table.
“It is very difficult to figure out why KKR won just two out of their seven games. If you look at their side, they are a good side. Their biggest issue is their batting. There were high expectations from Gill, Tripathi, Captain Morgan, and DK. It was a very weird half a season for them. Nitish Rana was their highest scorer who scored just 201 runs,” Deep Dasgupta said.

He revealed that Sunrisers Hyderabad was his favorite team to watch. However, they have been establishing at the bottom of the points table in IPL 2021. Also, it is just one win from seven games. Hyderabad has had a change in personnel. As distant as the captaincy is concerned as they dropped David Warner. The first half of the Indian Premier League and replaced him with Williamson. Dasgupta accepts there were a few off-the-field issues. It is influenced by SRH’s performances.
“SRH was my favorite. I liked their attitude and the way they played. But everything seemed to fall apart for them in the first half. Warner was dropped as a captain and player. Nothing was working. If someone needed a break, it was Sunrisers. It must be something that is in the dressing room. So I hope they have chatted in the break and sorted things out,” concluded Deep Dasgupta.
