Big Bash League: Unmukt Chand Thrills Crowd With Big Sixes

During his second appearance for the Melbourne Renegades in the ongoing BBL. Former India U19 captain Unmukt Chand demonstrated his class with impressive power hitting.

Unmukt Chand, a former Team India U19 captain. Announced his arrival in Australia’s ongoing Big Bash League (BBL.) With sublime power hitting during his second outing for Melbourne Renegades in the tournament. Chand, who had underperformed with a six-run knock on his BBL debut, roared back to form with a 29-run knock off 22 balls that included one four and two sixes.

Chand began his innings with a magnificent pull shot behind the wicket for a six. Also he proved to be an invaluable ally to captain Aaron Finch, who scored 82 runs off 64 balls. After the knock, Chand expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play cricket at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground, which he described as a “dream come true” (MCG). Chand took to Twitter and wrote:

“It’s been a dream come true 2 play at the @MCG. Felt a childlike energy entering the G. Not the result we wanted, nonetheless, a gud outing. Hopefully can take a lot of +ves frm this & apply on my nxt & coming adventures. Feels good 2 be back on the big stage. @BBL @RenegadesBBL.”

Big Bash League: Unmukt Chand

Despite Finch and Chand’s outstanding hitting, the Renegades fell one run short of the 170-run target against the Sydney Thunder.

Gurinder Sandhu took three wickets, while Tanveer Sangha bowled well enough to take two.
