BCCI announces release of Request for Proposals to stage Closing Ceremony. The final of the 2023 event will be play on May 28 in Ahmedabad.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has requested proposals from reputable businesses to acquire the rights and obligations to stage the Indian Premier League Closing Ceremony for Season 2023 (IPL 2023).
After the two qualifiers and the Eliminator, the final of the 2023 event will be held on May 28 in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. On April 21, the Indian board confirmed the Playoffs schedule, with Chennai hosting Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator on May 23 and 24, and Ahmedabad hosting Qualifier 2 on May 26.
The tender process’s detailed terms and conditions, including eligibility requirements. Bid submission process, rights and obligations, and so on, are contain in the ‘Request for Proposal’ (“RFP”). Which will be made available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax. The process for obtaining the RFP papers is detail in Annexure A to this notice.

The RFP will be on the market until April 27, 2023.
Interested parties are asked to email the details of their payment for the RFP purchase to rfp@bcci.tv. Following the procedure outlined in Annexure A. It is clarified that the RFP documents will be released only when payment of the non-refundable RFP fee has been confirmed.
Any interested party who want to submit a proposal must first acquire the RFP. However, only those who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the RFP. Agree to the additional terms and conditions outlined in it will be able to bid. It is made clear that simply obtaining the RFP does not authorize anyone to bid.”
The BCCI reserves the right to terminate or modify the bidding process at any time and for any cause.
