Meanwhile, Mumbai’s batters failed to live up to expectations in the chase. In the second over of the innings, skipper Rohit Sharma walked back to the pavilion, while players like Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tim David couldn’t do any damage. Mumbai eventually scored only 152 runs and lost the game by 55 runs. As a result, they stay seventh in the IPL Points Table, while Gujarat moved up to second.
