Chopra responds to Raja: questions whether it is even possible to compete or compare oneself to the IPL.

“Even if you do an auction instead of drafts, you will not see a player playing for 16 crores in the PSL.” It cannot happen, market dynamics will not allow it to happen. It’s as simple as that,” Chopra stated on his official YouTube channel.

Aakash Chopra went on to say that Chris Morris. The most expensive player in the 2021 auction, was worth more than his one ball because of his lucrative IPL contract.

“To be honest, Chris Morris’ one ball last time he play more expensive than the players’ salaries in other leagues.” Is it even possible to compete or compare yourself to the IPL. Regardless of whether it is the PSL, BBL, The Hundred, or the CPL? “Is it a slightly erroneous assessment?” he stated.

“The price is determine by how much money you receive from the rights. How much the teams are sold for, and then there is a total purse for which you play.” All of these are interconnected. They are not distinct. If they are seen separately. the cricketer-turn-cricket pundit added.

Talking about the success of PSL 2022. It’s profit jump to 71 percent which is the most in history of the competition since its inception in 2016.
