On Tuesday, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 18 runs at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai in Match 31 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. Moreover, Faf du Plessis’ 96-run knock off 64 balls helped RCB post 181 for six in 20 overs, setting a target of 182 runs. Chasing a target of 182 runs, LSG could only manage 163 for eight in 20 overs, with RCB’s Josh Hazlewood taking four wickets.

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are third, LSG are fourth, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are fifth,. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are sixth, and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are seventh.
The Delhi Capitals (DC) are eighth in the standings, with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in ninth and the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the bottom of the 10-team table.
Orange Cap Race
However, With 375 runs, Jos Buttler currently leads the Orange Cap race. KL Rahul (265) comes in second. Faf du Plessis (250) comes in third, Shreyas Iyer (236) comes in fourth, and Hardik Pandya (228) comes in fifth.
Purple Cap Race
Yuzvendra Chahal leads the team with 17 wickets in six games. T Natarajan (12) is second, Kuldeep Yadav (11) is third, Avesh Khan (11) is fourth, and Wanindu Hasaranga (11) is fifth.
