IPL 2022 – “Let The GOAT Do His Thing,” Says Riyan Parag of Virat Kohli. Riyan Parag expressed his support for Virat Kohli despite his poor form.

Virat Kohli’s poor form continued as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost by 29 runs to Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Tuesday. The star batter, who had been out for golden ducks in his previous two matches prior to Tuesday, could only manage nine runs before succumbing to Prasidh Krishna. Riyan Parag, who caught Kohli, took to Twitter to express his support for the former India captain, saying that “the GOAT” didn’t need any advice even during his slump in form.

Riyan Parag of Virat Kohli: “Let The GOAT Do His Thing,”

In response to a tweet asking what advice he should give Kohli right now, Parag replied, “None of us should, let the GOAT do his thing.”

For the unversed, GOAT is the abbreviation for ‘Greatest Of All Time’.

The match’s hero was Parag, who saved the Royals from a top-order collapse.

The youngster hit an unbeaten 56 off 31 deliveries to help his team reach 144/8, which appeared to be a difficult target at one point.

He came in at 68/4 after 9.3 overs and hit three boundaries and four sixes in his comeback.

He also contributed on the field, catching four balls.

After the last over of the Royals’ innings, Parag got into a heated argument with RCB pacer Harshal Patel.

Harshal also snubbed Parag’s handshake after the match.

With the victory, the Royals climbed to the top of the table.
