Brevis stated on the MI show on Star Sports, “I believe many people are familiar with AB de Villiers, and I have admired him since I was a child, admiring the way he plays and approaches his game. Sachin Tendulkar has always idolized him because of the way he plays and lives his mottos and how he goes about things in life.”
“I also like Virat Kohli, and as a bowler, Shane Warne is someone I look up to because I’m a leg spinner, so that’s why,” he added.
Dewald Brevis expressed his excitement for this year’s IPL, saying, “I’m so excited, for me I really look forward to spending time with every single player in the team, learning from them and when I get the opportunity, use it mostly just to learn, play the game, enjoy it, and keep it simple.”
