Deepak Chahar of the CSK was caught up in a humorous moment involving skipper MS Dhoni during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Notably, CSK won their third game of the IPL 2023 season against RCB on Monday, April 17 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Deepak is noticeably perplex in the video after Dhoni came up and began shadow hitting in front of him in the dugout. Deepak immediately left his seat after the skipper brought his bat close to his face in attempt to avoid being hit.

CSK dealing with multiple injury concerns

Notably, Deepak had to leave the field following the first over against the Mumbai Indians in Match 12 of the present season due to a hamstring injury. The injury occurred during the fifth ball of his first over, and CSK physios assisted him in walking off the field.

The yellow team has been plague by injury, with all-rounder Kyle Jamieson and bowler Mukesh Choudhary both ruled out for the rest of the season. Chahar, Sisanda Magala, Simarjeet Singh, and Ben Stokes have all been injured, with a number of them out for the season. However, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan reveal to Cricbuzz that Stokes is expect to return in the upcoming matches.

“Ben (Stokes) is doing well, recovering quickly, and should be ready for the April 30 game.” “He might even be ready by the April 27 game,” Kasi Viswanathan told Cricbuzz.
