Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag also responded to Saha’s Twitter post, writing: “It’s heartbreaking. Such arrogance; he is simply chamchagiri. Wriddhi, I’m with you.”

Moreover, Chetan Sharma, chairman of the All-India Senior Selection Committee, announced the squads for the Test and T20I series against Sri Lanka at home on Saturday.

Senior players such as Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, and Wriddhiman Saha were all omitted from the Test squad.
