What Sourav Ganguly Said About Virat Kohli And Rohit Sharma’s Poor IPL 2022 Form. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has shared his thoughts on batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s form.

In the ongoing IPL 2022, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are struggling with the bat. Both have fallen short of their lofty expectations. But it’s only a matter of time before they return to their former selves. Kohli and Rohit’s poor form in the Indian Premier League has become a major talking point with many former and current cricketers offering advice and commenting on the situation. Sourav Ganguly, the current president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), is the most recent to do so.

In an interview with News18, Ganguly predicted that the two stalwarts would return to the running.

“They are excellent players, and I am confident they will regain their form. I’m hoping they can start scoring runs soon. I’m not sure what’s going on in Virat Kohli’s head, but I’m confident he’ll regain his form and get some good runs. He’s a fantastic player “Ganguly state.

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli has scored 128 runs from nine matches at an average of 16, while MI captain Rohit Sharma, like his team, has struggled to get started. In eight games, the opening batter has scored 153 runs at an average of 19.13.

Both batting stars have failed to reach a half-century mark.

Meanwhile, Ganguly state that he is closely following the IPL 2022 and has been impress by the performances of the two new franchises.

“Oh, it’s fascinating; I’m watching (the IPL). Any team can win, and everyone is performing admirably. Gujrat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, the two new teams, are doing well “He state.

Gujarat Titans have been the team to beat in the IPL, winning all of the cliffhangers to sit atop the IPL points table with 14 points.

Lucknow Super Giants are also in the running for the playoffs, currently in fourth place. They have the same number of points as third-placed SunRisers Hyderabad and fifth-placed RCB.
