Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hassan remark on Monday that the organization has severe reservations about hosting the 2018 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The BCB executives also state that they do not want the competition to conflict with the BBL, SA20, or ILT20 since it would make it impossible for teams to attract top-quality players. “We are not obtaining a berth for the next BPL, and it is very hard to pull out a slot. We have one, but there may be a vacuum if there is a general election in which security officers are required,” Nazmul told reporters at the Sylhet International Stadium on Monday.

Bangladesh’s new head coach will be appointed by the BCB on February 20.
Russell Domingo, the head coach, left at the end of 2022, and the Bangladesh Cricket Board has yet to name a replacement. Nazul Hassan, on the other hand, is optimistic that a choice will be reached before the England series, and that the name will be revealed by February 20.
