In Indian cricket, the term “conflict of interest” has become infamous. Several famous figures, including Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, have been targeted as a result of this issue.

For the uninitiated, a conflict of interest emerges when a person’s personal interests have the potential to influence his or her behavior at work. Former Team India head coach Ravi Shastri commented on the issue, saying that it “undoes” cricket characters.

Shastri slammed those dragging the BCCI through the courts, under the guise of a conflict of interest. He further added that due to this, he is unable to commentate or mentor in the IPL.
