Former Sydney Sixers captain and Australian batting star Steve Smith returns to the franchise for the Big Bash League’s 12th season. Smith has guided the Sydney-based team to their first BBL championship in 2011. He has been signed as a substitute player for the famous domestic competition’s forthcoming season.
Steve Smith broke into the forefront as a bowling all-rounder. He had remarkable success with the Sydney Sixers in 2011, guiding the team to victory in Brad Haddin’s absence.
