“Six Pack Abs”: Shaheen Afridi In London Rehab. On Sunday, following Pakistan’s Super 4 victory over India in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, pacers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf interacted with Shaheen, who is currently in London.
Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is undergoing rehabilitation in London in order to be ready for the T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia in October-November of this year. On Sunday, following Pakistan’s Super 4 victory over India in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, pacers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf interacted with Shaheen, who is currently in London.
In a video shared by the PCB’s official Twitter account, Naseem and Haris can be seen checking on Shaheen, who says: “Weight training is helping with rehab. In two weeks, I’ll be bowling, so six pack (abs) aaya hai a little bit.”

In the video, Afridi also expressed his desire to see yorkers bowled by Haris and Naseem at the death. Afridi also told Rauf that he saw Rauf’s bowling against India and thought it was “very good.”
“Asia cup nahi jaani chahiye,” (The Asia Cup should not leave our hands),” Afridi said in the video.
Rauf responded, “Aap ki bathaye hue⊠aap guru ho!” (You are the guru simply by following your path.)”
While in London, Shaheen will be overseen by the PCB Medical Advisory Panel. Which includes London-based Dr Imtiaz Ahmed and Dr Zafar Iqbal.
Shaheen sustained a PCL injury while fielding in the first Test against Sri Lanka in July. He is expected to be fully fit for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2022, but his return to competitive cricket will be determined by the PCB Medical Advisory Panel.
