Saba Karim wants India’s leggie Ravi Bishnoi to play Test cricket. Saba Karim, a former India selector, has endorsed young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi to play all three forms. He went on to say that there is no leggie representing India in Test cricket and that Bishnoi has the ability to play well in this format.
While Ravi Bishnoi has been a fixture for the Men in Blue in limited-overs matches this year. Including the Asia Cup, he has been left out of the ongoing home T20I series. Against Australia and the upcoming series against South Africa. Furthermore, the leggie added to the list of backup players for the next T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

“I’d love to see him play in all three forms, because for some unexplained reason. There aren’t any leg spinners in the test match format these days. ” But I’d want to see a change, and Ravi Bishnoi is one such contender who can play all three formats and do well for India. But first, he needs to play red-ball cricket for his state’s team. Even though Bishnoi was able to get a spot in the Indian T20I squad, it was always going to be difficult for him to make a name for himself in this year’s T20 World Cup team given the absence of Ravindra Jadeja. India has three experienced spinners to choose from: Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, and Yuzvendra Chahal.
It is unclear if the leggie would be featured in India’s red-ball outfit in the long run, given veteran leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has never played in this format.
