Pholetsi Moseki appointed as the permanent CEO of Cricket South Africa.

Pholetsi Moseki appointed as the permanent chief executive officer  (CEO) of Cricket South Africa on Wednesday.

Cricket South Africa named Pholetsi Moseki as its permanent chief executive officer (CEO) on Wednesday. Moseki has been the acting CEO of CSA since December 2020. Moseki’s official tenure begins on April 1 and will last five years. Since Thabang Moroe was suspended in December 2019. CSA has been without a full-time CEO.

“Finding a new CEO has been a critical component in the process of fixing cricket from the ground up and setting us on a path to renewal and growth,” CSA chairperson Lawson Naidoo said.

“I feel delight that Pholetsi has agreed to take on this exciting challenge. I am confident that he will ensure that cricket becomes a national game of winners, making all South Africans proud.”

“Pholetsi has demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment since joining the CSA family. He has been a vital link in the leadership chain, particularly during difficult times. He has been instrumental in steering the organization in the right direction “Naidoo summed up.

CSA is fortunate in that Mr. Moseki was an integral player in the development of the new strategy and is familiar with the goals and outcomes CSA intends to achieve.”
