“The Delhi Capitals have a plethora of promising young players. I’ve worked with Sarfaraz Khan and Mandeep Singh before, and I’m excited to reconnect and collaborate with them in a new capacity. Lalit Yadav is another really exciting player I’ve seen in practice. But I’m here to help everyone, and I’m really looking forward to this opportunity.”

Last season, the Delhi Capitals made the playoffs, but they were eliminated by the Kolkata Knight Riders in Qualifier 2 at Sharjah.

Agarkar also discussed his collaboration with the head coach of the Delhi Capitals.

“Ricky Ponting is a big reason why so many people want to be a part of this team. I’ve had the opportunity to play against him a few times, as well as with him in the IPL. I’ve known him for quite some time. And I know how much Ricky enjoys working with the younger players.”

“It’s been a pleasure to be a part of the Delhi Capitals organization. There are many young players on the team. From the outside, I could see that the DC management has created a positive environment for the team, which is reflected in the franchise’s success. There are many new faces on the team, including myself, and it is our responsibility to ensure that the positive environment remains “Agarkar went on to say.
