In anger, Ramiz Raja strikes a reporter. – ‘Aap khel le phir’. Babar Azam said ‘We are excited about the prospect of playing the WTC final’.

The president of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Ramiz Raja, was not amused by a recent question given by a reporter, and he instantly expressed his displeasure with it by reacting irritably.

After more than 500 runs were scored on Day 1 of the Test, the PCB came under fire for the sort of surface that was set up in Rawalpindi for the present Test between Pakistan and England. This has happened before; in fact, a similar incident occurred during Australia’s March visit to Pakistan.

Pakistan has been able to draw closer to the total of 657 that England posted at the completion of play on Days 1 and 2. Social media has been very loud about it, despite the fact that the pitch offers absolutely no aid to the bowlers.

Speaking of the field, a reporter brought up the earlier statements made by captain Babar on the significance of the series victory to the PCB chairman present at the stadium.

“We are excited about the prospect of playing the WTC final. This is an important series for that. We have a golden chance to achieve that if we win four of the five Tests to come. We got around a week to prepare for the series, so that was great and has given us some edge and momentum. The best thing was that first-class matches were on, so some of the players were already playing red-ball cricket,”

Babar told.

“In such cases what type of pitches we have had? Because Babar had said that we have a golden chance here?”

The reporter to Ramiz.

“Phir wohi baat kar rahe hain, aap khel le phir (Again you are saying the same thing…you go and play then),”

Ramiz responded.
