ENG vs. WI: Wasim Jaffer Trolls Michael Vaughan With Hilarious Twitter Post.
England’s men’s cricket team suffered yet another batting collapse in the third Test, handing the hosts West Indies a 1-0 series lead. England were thrashed by 10 wickets as the batters were rendered helpless by inspired bowling performances from West Indies bowlers in both innings. The defeat meant that England, led by skipper Joe Root, lost the series 1-0 and were push to the bottom of the World Test Championship Table points table.
Following the humiliating loss, England faced criticism from all corners of the cricketing world. Wasim Jaffer, a former India cricketer, was among them.
Jaffer took advantage of the situation to troll Michael Vaughan in the most amusing way possible.
He shared a post in which he showed how Root led the England run-getters chart last year, followed by Rory Burns. But what clearly stole the show is the fact that the team receive more extras than any other England batter except the two mention above over the course of the entire 2021 season.
Jaffer tagged Michael Vaughan in this embarrassing statistic, and the latter responded with a cheeky retort.
Jaffer wrote: “England 120 all out! What happened @MichaelVaughan was this Extras guy unavailable due to IPL or what? #WIvENG #IPL2022.”
