Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have begun their preparations for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. CSK players, including captain MS Dhoni, were seen enjoying a game of “footvolley” in their yellow jerseys during training in the latest video post by CSK’s official Twitter handle. Dhoni seen in the game gesticulating at one of his teammates after he fluffed his lines. The video captioned as follows: “The Namma Special Footvolley segment has RETURNED! .#WhistlePodu.”

Chennai Super Kings spent big money at the IPL mega auction last year in Bengaluru.
Moreover, They came into the auction with a budget of Rs 48 crore. They had already signed four players, including Moeen Ali (Rs 8 crore), Ruturaj Gaikwad (Rs 8 crore), Ravindra Jadeja (Rs 16 crore), and MS Dhoni (Rs 16 crore) (Rs 12 crore).
CSK then pursued pacer Deepak Chahar, whom they repurchased for Rs 14 crore.
Chahar has played 63 games for CSK, taking 59 wickets with an economy of 7.80. He appeared in 15 IPL 2021 matches, taking 14 wickets as CSK won the title.
