Deepak Hooda: The New Lucky Charm of India
With 16 consecutive victories in all of Deepak Hooda’s matches. India now has the longest unbeaten streak for a player after his debut at the highest level. With Hooda on the team, India has won seven One Day Internationals and nine Twenty20 Internationals.
The middle-order batter has been a member of India’s squad since 2017. But he will not make his international debut until February 2022.

Returning to the Zimbabwe game, in addition to scoring an important 25, the 27-year-old made an impact with the ball in hand, recording figures of 1/6 from two overs at an economy of three. He defeated a well-established Sean Williams.
The promising cricketer will now be hoping to help India complete a whitewash with another superb all-round performance when the two teams meet in the third ODI on Monday, August 22 in Harare.
